Edison Research has been continuously researching podcast listening since 2005. Our data is relied upon by thousands of podcasters and networks globally.

In addition to subscriber-only Edison Podcast Metrics and public-facing studies, we have covered the medium in our Infinite Dial series since 2006, and have been measuring podcasting’s overall Share of Ear® since 2014. In addition, we have provided private research and consultation services for many of the leaders in the podcasting space. We continue our commitment to podcast measurement with the expansion of Edison Podcast Metrics into the UK in Q3 of 2023, and will be debuting the Podcast Download Tracker in the near future.
