No Wonder They Act The Way They Do

In our recent study of American Youth — we asked respondents what time they wake up on a typical weekday. As the attached graph shows, an incredible one-quarter of them are awake before six am and seventy percent are up by 7am.
I have two 12-17s, and both of them wake up in the 6am hour and are out the door in an astonishingly short period of time. They consume no media whatsoever, not even Internet. Apparently, they are not alone, as our study shows.
Fully 18% of 12-17s do not regularly use radio, television, Internet, newspapers, OR listen to recorded music in the mornings. With schools starting so early, part of it is they are just too tired to do these things!
