In Search of 30 Under 30

At a time when radio is finally waking up to the importance of reclaiming radio’s place with 12-to-24-year-olds, very few broadcasters can effectively approach that audience as peers. Radio lore has numerous stories of phenoms who were major-market PDs or managers by their mid-’20s in the ’70s and early ’80s, but who are today’s phenoms? That’s why Edison Media Research is in search of “30 Under 30,” 30 broadcasters–employed in radio in any capacity–under age 30 with exceptional achievements. We’ll name the 30 winners in February (and you could win a new HD Radio just for submitting a name!)
