Now Hiring: Marketing Coordinator/Graphic Designer
Edison Research is a dynamic public opinion and market research company looking for a Marketing Coordinator/Graphic Designer to join its staff. We are seeking someone with a passion for marketing and design to help highlight Edison’s work.
Description: Assist in the development and execution of marketing and graphic design for the Edison Research brand, its research and products.
Responsibilities:
- Write and edit content for different platforms such as social media, website, and press releases
- Create, design, and produce infographics, sales one-sheets, presentation templates, white papers, graphics for press releases, etc. for both Edison marketing initiatives and client projects
- Coordinate publication and promotion of blogs and weekly insights newsletter
- Assist with preparation, formatting, and proofreading of newsletters, press releases and other external communications
- Coordinate internal editorial calendar and marketing meetings
- Assist in the maintenance of company website, including drafting, updating, and posting content such as news items, publications, and events
- Track website and social media analytics, and work to optimize SEO
- Contribute to social media strategy and management of Facebook, LinkedIn and Twitter accounts
- Seek opportunities to increase social media engagement
- Develop PR timelines and coordinate with clients on public-facing research events
- Ensure marketing projects are completed on-time, and align with Edison quality and branding standards
While fully remote candidates will be considered for this position, the ideal candidate will live within commuting distance to Somerville NJ. The employee will have the opportunity for a hybrid schedule – part-time in Somerville and part-time at home.
Salary is commensurate with experience, and annualized at a rate of $50,000-$60,000. Resumes without cover letters or samples of design work will NOT be considered.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree
- 1+ years of relevant experience in graphic design and/or marketing
- Interest in market research, media and/or politics
- Experience with graphic design programs, multimedia, and presentation software such as Adobe Design Suite (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, Acrobat), PowerPoint, MSWord and Excel
- Self-motivated and organized with the ability to work collaboratively, prioritize projects, and multi-task and meet deadlines
- Excellent writing, proofreading and editing skills
