Also included is the latest trended data on Internet audio and video usage, as well as awareness and usage of satellite media, HD Radio, podcasting and more.

    Arbitron and Edison examine the size, characteristics and consumer habits of the Internet Broadcast audience and the most effective way to market to this elite segment of the U.S. population.   • Internet IX: The Media and Entertainment World of Online Consumers- September 2002

    Some of our findings include: One out of five Americans feel the Internet is “most essential”, weekly “Streamies” buy significantly more CDs and see more movies than most Americans, residential broadband adoption has doubled in the last 18 months, jumping from 13 percent of those with at-home Internet access in January 2001 to 28 percent in July 2002, and more.
