Edison Media Research/Mitofsky International conducted 23 Presidential Primary Exit Polls between January 19, 2004 and March 16, 2004.
Edison Media Research and Mitofsky International conducted exit polls for the General Election in all 50 states on November 2, 2004. These voter surveys provided political, demographic and geographic information detailing voters and whom they chose for President, Senator and/or Governor, as well as the results for newsworthy Statewide Propositions. Each individual election had separate cross tab and associated data screens. Subscriptions are offered on a statewide, regional and national basis; subscriber costs are determined by market rank size and geographic choice of polls.
Edison Media Research and Mitofsky International have been the leading independent provider of political exit polls for 10 years. Clients have included The New York Times, The Washington Post, The Wall Street Journal, The Los Angeles Times, USA Today, Newsweek and The Chicago Tribune.
Superior Reporting With Our Data
Exit polls are taken only minutes after citizens vote. The results are primary sources from which we can understand the motivations and patterns behind the actual vote.
Exit Polls Tell Us:
WHO voted for each candidate
WHY voters in your area made critical choices
WHERE geographical differences on candidates and issues were a factor.
It is our goal to make data available to our subscribers with speed, clarity and most importantly accuracy. The exit poll data is available for purchase by TV-affiliates, newspapers, Internet sites and other news outlets. The polling data is delivered through a secure web application directly to subscribers on Election Day. Political candidates may subscribe as well, but the data is available one week past voting day.
