International Exit Polls

Edison Research along with its partner Mitofsky International has been involved in exit polls in Mexico, Russia, Taiwan and Azerbaijan.

The election survey in Azerbaijan was conducted on November 6, 2005 and projected results for the Azerbaijan Parliamentary Elections. The exit poll was conducted at 1,446 polling places consisting of samples in all 125 parliamentary districts. More than 100,000 voters were interviewed in one day. Results were released to the media soon after the polls closed that evening. The exit poll presented a great challenge because of the diversity of the country including its languages and customs.
