Edison NH Exit Polls Record Record Turnout

By Tom Webster

On January 8th, Edison Media Research conducted successful exit polls of the New Hampshire Democratic and Republican Primaries. Edison interviewers sampled a universe of over 510,000 voters, the largest turnout in the history of the New Hampshire Primaries. Edison’s exit polling provided valuable information to our news media clients and to the public about the issues that were most important to New Hampshire voters, and their attitudes and opinions about the candidates. Edison’s staff successfully executed nearly 3,500 interviews outside precincts all across New Hampshire, and our staff of analysts worked hand in hand with our media partners to deliver accurate, detailed accounts of the voting patterns in this important early primary.
