Rob Farbman is Edison Media Research's Senior Vice President and has been with the company since 1995. Farbman is responsible for all research operations at Edison, coordinating projects for radio, television, record labels, Internet companies and other media clients around the world.
One area of focus for Farbman is directing Edison's work for the National Election Pool providing all election information to ABC News, CBS News, CNN, Fox News, NBC News and the Associated Press. He will coordinate Edison's 2008 Election operations, conducting exit polls and collecting vote returns for broadcast for every major Presidential primary and the general election.
Farbman also manages Edison's work in the Middle East, including its work for the U.S. Government's broadcasting ventures "Radio Sawa" and "Radio Farda" and has traveled to the region many times.
Prior to joining Edison Media Research, Farbman was Director of Mitofsky International, a public opinion research company. While with Mitofsky International, Farbman served as chief deputy to the company's President, Warren Mitofsky, and helped manage the firm's domestic survey research business as well as international projects in Russia and Mexico.
Farbman has also served as Manager of Operations for Voter Research & Surveys and in research positions at CBS News and for the television syndication company King World Productions.
Farbman is a graduate of the University of Massachusetts.
